Styling makes a big difference. I started out not liking the Cadillac CTS coupe. The styling doesn't suit me, and it felt a bit underpowered. But the more I drove it, the more the car grew on me. Perhaps it was the compliments I got. The CTS coupe got more compliments than anything I've driven, exotics included. I had people tell me they would like to be rich just so they could buy this car. But this Cadillac doesn't require you to be rich. The V6 engine doesn't even need premium gasoline to deliver its best, and it still delivers over 20 mpg. It's no rocket ship, but for only $50,000 or so it's a beautiful bargain compared to the alternatives.
